All things in their proper place. I've run naked three times this week. And for recovery runs and some races I think we can sometime learn different things from just letting go of the numbers and doing what we do.Caolan MacMahonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10371711289185833824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5330212736054651223.post-875528828200449102013-06-15T16:33:24.482-06:002013-06-15T16:33:24.482-06:00I know in my heart I should be running sans techno...I know in my heart I should be running sans technology ALL the time. And if I did I would be a more balanced runner. Great post...keep shedding the gadgets. That does change the run, because the run we carry with us all day, and perhaps on into our life, is different in that case - in the 'not knowing' EVEN after the fact. I think that matters. Moreover, I think we get some kind of reassurance from the fact that we could look even if we don't look when we have it with us. If we don't even have it on our wrist, that is not there for us to rely on.Caolan MacMahonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10371711289185833824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5330212736054651223.post-13327120933374944852013-06-04T18:47:38.978-06:002013-06-04T18:47:38.978-06:00This morning I wore my Nike+ watch, as i do for ev...This morning I wore my Nike+ watch, as i do for every run. I only looked at the watch to tell the time, since I only had 40 minutes. Tempted to look at "pace" and "mile I'm on" a few times, I said "not today". And it felt different, a really good different.Kenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06963345927230099065noreply@blogger.com
