I've been taught so much, by so many -- but also missed some significant opportunities. My readiness (or not) was and will be my responsibility. I'm grateful to those who helped me be ready and open my eyes, as well as those who helped me pick myself up when I didn't see the wall in front of me. I ask (variations of) three questions: Why are we here? Why is this important? What are we going to do?
